While every dog is unique we provide some guidelines below to give you an idea of where to start. We recommend weighing your dog every 2 to 4 weeks to make sure they are maintaining a healthy weight.

Calculate your dogs daily feeding requirement using the charts or formulas below. Then use this formula to calculate how many pounds of Sol Fed Dog Food You will need shipped to you every two weeks.

"2 Week subscription amount" = "Daily Feeding Requirement (ounces)" x "0.875"

Healthy weight dog, moderate/normal activity- 2.5% body weight

"Daily feeding requirement (ounces)" = "Dog Weight (lbs)" x "0.4"

Senior Dog, low activity- 2% body weight

"Daily feeding requirement (ounces)" = "Dog Weight (lbs)" x "0.32"

Highly Active Dog- 3%+ body weight

"Daily feeding requirement (ounces)" = "Dog Weight (lbs)" x "0.48"
